Designed for individuals responsible for the safety and care of infants and children. This flexible course combines self-paced American Heart Association eLearning with an instructor-led, hands-on skills session.
Participants learn how to recognize and respond to pediatric illnesses and injuries, perform CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in infants and children. After completing the assigned coursework, participants attend an in-person session to practice and demonstrate the required lifesaving skills.
Upon successful completion of both portions, participants receive an official American Heart Association Pediatric First Aid CPR AED eCard, valid for two years.
